A House in Brussels (student project)

Project completed for the Spring 2016 design studio "Chair Table Shelf, Your(s), and House(s)" taught by architect Jan de Vylder at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio
This project proposes the renovation of one half of a two-family residence in the Logis Florial suburb of the Belgian capital city of Brussels. The house contains a winter garden with a sculpture studio overlooked by a pair of bedrooms accessible through a staircase that weaves in-and-out of the main structural wall of the house. The project also includes the design of a marble topped table stool to serve the purposes of the sculptural studio.
